Estimates and Written Approval Before Work

When you ask Plumber Modesto Pros for help with a plumbing problem, we first learn what is going on from your description. We then put together an estimate that covers the work as we understand it. We explain what is included and what is not, in plain words. You can ask questions about any part of the estimate before approving it. No work starts until you approve that estimate in writing, by signature or by a clear written message.

An estimate is based on what we can see and what you tell us. Once we open a wall, lift a fixture, or trace a line, we may find a different cause than expected. If that happens, we stop, explain what we found, and wait for your approval before changing the plan. The final charge reflects only the work actually performed and approved, nothing added without your knowledge.

Your Responsibilities as a Homeowner

Good results take a little teamwork, so here is what we need from you. Please give us clear access to the work area and move personal items away from sinks, toilets, and water heaters. Know where your main water shutoff valve is before we arrive, and point it out when we do. If you cannot find it, tell us and we will look for it together.

Keep pets in a separate room and keep children clear of the work area for their safety. Tell us about earlier repairs, leaks, or recurring problems in the same spot, even if someone else handled them. If someone else in your home made the request, make sure we have your approval as the homeowner before work starts. The more we know up front, the fewer surprises there are once work begins.

Emergency Service Terms

If water is running where it should not be, turn off the main shutoff valve first if you can reach it safely. Then call (888) 667-0304 and tell us exactly what you see and hear. Water staining a ceiling, a toilet that will not stop running, and sewage backing up into a tub are all treated as urgent. Your safety comes first, so step back from anything dangerous and let us handle it.

We handle urgent calls in the order they come in and give you an honest arrival window. Heavy call periods can push that window back, and we will say so instead of leaving you guessing. If we cannot answer your call, leave a message with your name, address, and callback number, and we will respond as soon as we can. When you reach us, be ready to describe how long the problem has been happening and which rooms are affected. Stay clear of standing water near outlets, panels, or appliances until the area is made safe.

Using This Website

This website describes the plumbing services of Plumber Modesto Pros in general terms. The service pages, articles, and tips here are general information only, not advice for your specific home or problem. Only a visit and a direct conversation can confirm what your situation actually needs.

Filling out a request form or sending an email asks us to contact you, and it does not schedule a job by itself. We follow up to confirm the details, the timing, and the estimate before anything is set. Please send your own contact details and accurate information so we can reach you. If your plans change, let us know as early as you can so we can adjust.

The text, photos, and layout on this site belong to Plumber Modesto Pros and are shown for your personal use. You may not copy or reuse them for another business or website. If you believe something on the site is wrong, tell us and we will look into it.

Limitation of Liability in Plain Terms

We take care with every job, but there are limits to what we can take responsibility for. Plumbing systems include parts hidden inside walls, under floors, and underground that no one can fully see before work starts. We are not responsible for damage that comes from conditions we could not see or from information that was not shared with us. That is why written approval and clear communication matter so much before and during every job.

If a pipe is corroded, an earlier repair was done incorrectly, or a structure has an unrelated defect, that is outside our responsibility. We also cannot be responsible for delays or problems caused by weather, utility outages, or other events beyond our control. If a claim arises, our responsibility is limited to the cost of the specific service involved. By using this site and hiring our services, you agree to these limits.

Changes to These Terms and How to Reach Us

We may update these terms from time to time as the business or the website changes. The version posted on this page is the one in effect. We do not change terms to avoid responsibility for work that was already agreed to. Continuing to use the site or request service after an update means you accept the updated terms.

If anything here is unclear, ask us before you agree to work or submit a request. Email info@plumbermodestoca.com or call (888) 667-0304 and we will answer in plain language. We would rather explain something twice than have you agree to something unclear. No one should sign or agree to something they do not understand.
